Alphabet in the bag ...
Alphabet out of the bag!I found these metal and wooden blocks at an antique shop in New Norfolk and my heart leaped for joy! Now they are out of the bag I am really looking forward to what I am going to do with them ... watch this space!
Sometime in the next six months I plan to go back to the shop to buy up a few more ... if the wallet holds out.

They have so many more of these wooden blocks with metal and wood type. Just love them!
I did purchase a whole alphabet which ended up costing me a lot of money. The blocks ranged from $5 to $10. Money I didn't have mind you ... so in the pursuit of artistic endeavour I whacked it on the VISA! Eeeek!
I asked the proprietor if she could manage a discount but she declined saying they are so popular that they walk out the door. Hmmmmm, I have reserved my judgement on that one and better get on with some saleable artwork to pay for them.
