Kim Schoenberger - ABCD

Still on using that which I find on my rust hunts each week, in my letter 'D' week I just happen to find some old weathered leather straps and buckles used for horse riding. Not much in the way of rusted items, seeming rather disappointed...I looked over the leather again and ofcourse...
the D-ring on the strap!

Very cool Kim! Don't you just love it when life delivers a D-Ring just when you need it?

It's going to be an interesting alphabet...

Oh Kim,my old studio housed lots and lots of found objects which were letters, wrought iron bits and pieces, gate bits in particular ... plus "g-clamps", the more patina the better. What a collection you hare assembling, wow! x gb

Fiona, yes the 'D' was a gift to be given, in my little find....ever thankful to the universe for providing!

Gemma, thanking you...Oh! your 'old stidio' sounds like a dream studio. Heaven.

Noela, challenging indeed! I hadn't anticipated that the thin metal backing, required much care and thought to bring the two together. Having soooo much fun!
